We get some powerful winds here, being 200m up a hill and exposed to the Irish sea but it's nothing compared to what that tornado has wrought in Mississippi. Watching it on the news was horrifying.
Today was quite nice - dry with sunny spells and little wind but very chilly in the wind. Shame I've been stuck indoors working on a project

-3 this morning and a hard frost.  Sun is shining though and the washing is out so a good day to work from home!  Pity the next 10 days are supposed to be rainy.

We had a colder night, but not that bad.  It has actually been a nice day here.  There were a few grey clouds earlier that looked like they might have given us showers, but they passed over and it has been sunny for most of the afternoon.  More importantly, it has actually felt spring-like

Heavier rain now, and the breeze has strengthened, so it's feeling quite chilly after a warmer start

As New Shoot says, as the day's gone on it's got colder, the wind is bitterly cold and it's rained on and off.  Thoroughly miserable and grey, haven't turned the light off all day.
