I’ve been watering my tomatoes every day with this v hot weather. My question is should I water once or twice a day. The plants are in growbags or pots outside.

More often would be best in growbags. But don’t saturate the soil.

I use a moisture meter to check the soil moisture before watering and never allow it to be in the wet or dry reading.

Pot size has a bearing too.  Mine are in 30l pots and seem ok daily but I have a Corno del Toro sweet pepper in a 10l pot that is suffering badly with BER.  Bigger pot next year!

I am in favour of giving a good watering on planting my toms (or any other plant) then leaving them for a bit so the roots grow well down to search for water. I plant my toms into those green plastic plant pot jobbies which you insert into a grow-bag and put water into the outer rim and then add liquid feed into the inner pot.
