Today will be mostly gorgeous. Blue sky, little cloud, slight breeze and warm.

This morning was really nice, warm and sunny with just hint of a breeze. We're getting some high wispy cloud now but the windows and doors are open, the fresh air is circulating and all the bedding is in the washing.  If it keeps up I may be motivated to do something productive today.

Weather forecast predicted heavy rain and thunder overnight so I was ready to spend the night on the settee with a quivering dog.

Not a drop.

It's very grey but that's all you can say.  We desperately need rain.

It's 14C and raining steadily here atm. I wanted to finish planting out my peas but we do really need the rain, so I'll suffer in silence

If it keeps up I may be motivated to do something productive today.

I did try but the universe had different plans.    after I had to put the same washing back on for the third time I called it a day.

Today is the polar opposite - Drizzle, grey and a strong breeze and it's very muggy with it too.  Meh.

Nice to have some rain finally, last rain here was 2nd May of a few mm.
Rain showers started early morning and so far 3mm.
Very dark grey skies here, so expecting some more showers. 

Be nice to not have to water the garden for a few days

We had a glorious summer day yesterday in mid May 

Today is a reminder that it is not summer yet. Gloomy all morning and now steady rain. It is not cold though, the garden and plot need it and the birds are doing their ‘It’s raining, it’s pouring’ chorus. They are probably looking forward to worms coming up in the soil to within nabbing distance

Two rumbles  of thunder and a steady drizzle first thing.  This afternoon has cheered up and the wind has dropped, not enough to convince us to go outside though so have done some jobs indoors.

Rain started eventually about 10, we've had light rain up until about half an hour ago.

22C earlier this afternoon, rain in the south supposed to be reaching here soon, but looks to be dying away as it moves north towards us.

Oh well, there's always tomorrow...

The rain dance must've worked - it's been peeing down for the last couple of hours. I needn't have bothered watering the flowers in.

Had a really good downpour overnight that has topped the pond up nicely. Put paid to my gardening plans for today though

Hard to say how much rain we've had overnight, the super electro-mechanical gauge is not reliable any more. Maybe 10mm.. Grey, 13ºC and we may get lightening this afternoon.
