Taking down those Christmas decorations
« on: January 01, 2022, 12:41 »

When do others dismantle their trees and decorations etc? I know that tradition says 12th Night but they are really getting on my nerves now. The tree is shedding needles and tinsel and the slightest draught knocks the cards off their resting places on mantle-pieces, sideboards etc. Christmas? Bah humbug!

As with most things in life - do it when it suits YOU

I gave mine the side-eye this morning, so they'll go back in their box soon  ;)

I took dowm the cards this morning.   Take down the decs in the next few days, when I am in the mood.
If I had an artificial tree I would undecorate it and do it again for easter.  Mrs B

Didn't have much up except cards and some tinsel. Already gone. Space is at a premium here and I don't climb to put things up high any more.

Decorations all went up on December 1st and took down 31st.
Have always done it like that and a family tradition.
A good clean up yesterday, picking up all those tiny tinsel and other decoration bits.

Started 3 days ago and just have the artificial tree to fold up and put away. I found it best to do a bit at a time.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

Did ours yesterday.  All back in their boxes, will need the windowsills clear for starting seeds.
