Blown Brussels sprouts
« on: August 29, 2020, 18:48 »
My Brussels -Brendan - are growing beautifully, but because we have had a very long, dry,hot summer the sprouts have blown.  I have been watering as much as I am able to, but I’m sure it’s not enough.  Anyway, my question is, is there any benefit in removing the sprouts that have already blown so those that are new have a chance of being better?  Or, should I leave them on the plant?  Remove the plant in it’s entirety?  Your experience is eagerly awaited, many thanks.
