Pots, modules, plugs, take your pick!

Just don't leave it too late, or keep the pots somewhere too warm, because it seems to prefer slightly cooler conditions!

I thought I would try Spinach in pots this year.  Seems to be doing better than the ones I have in ground.

Pots here, too.

It seems that seed over two years old doesn't do very well too, as I've just found out after peering at some for a month...

just forgot to ask if you grow them in modules or pots what size pot would you use ? and would you sow several seeds per-pot and if you grow them in modules say one  seed per station then pot on how many modules per pot does all this make sense

We sow ours in 2" modules and aim for 3 /4 plants per module and plant about 8" apart and then pick the outer leaves each time seems to work quite well.

Pretty much the same as polo except I use one inch modules with 3-5 seeds in each. Once they have true leaves and the roots are holding the plug together I plant them out.
I planted out a batch today and I'l sow another load at the end of May to go out in June unless it's too hot.

Actually, here, we sow them just to get them started in a tray, then transfer them to 6gm 2.5"square pots to grow on, these can then be spread around as the plants get bigger, and always used as baby leaves!

I really will try harder for succession this year...
