Showers that stopped by the time I got to the door to feel what rain feels like

This morning it's grey and cloudy with a drizzle of rain. Forecast promises it's to dry up later, fingers crossed!

Wouldn't mind some rain but would like to see the back of the gales - doing all the gardening no good.

A bit of drizzle this morning, although barely enough to register on the rain gauge (0.6mm to be precise!)

Don't know what happened to the forecast strong breezes today - almost no wind at all...

Sunny with a few clouds, max.17c, Winds WSW, still more blowy than I would like.  Yesterday 30 minutes of rain, doesn't seem to have made any difference to the soil, but I am sure the plants loved it.

It went down to 10C last night in the greenhouse. This morning was mild 15C, but grey and windy, the clouds have finally blown over and the sun has come out to play and the temp quickly jumped up to 23C

And the same here. Sunshine all the way.   The beach at Compton was  packed, about fifty cars in the car park, no social distancing at all. Anyone who moans about it on the Islands Facebook page gets 'shouted down'.  We usually  stop there every morning at about 8.30 to have a quick walk around but didn't today as there was already about ten cars there.

19/20c, winds ESE then ENE, at least the cotton from the poplar tree will blow the other way.  Sunny.

11C in the greenhouse overnight, and 18C outside now in the sunshine - there's a nice breeze to stop it getting too hot today
