I grew dwarf curly kale by accident and it was rubbish.  Hardly produced any leaves and turned to mush when cooked.  Was definately not worth the effort.  Shame, kale is one of my favourite veggies.

Could I have done something wrong?

What........did you expect something else?
Cheese makes everything better.

That Black Tuscan stuff is lovely, and easy to grow
Self-sufficient in rasberries and bindweed. Slug pellets can be handy.

Thank you for asking Mashauk, I'm fine today.  What a gorgeous day to potter in the garden and drink tea with choccie biccies.

Jolly good! That's what I'm growing this year. Dwarf Curly kale was last year, and if it's any consolation Ice, mine was dodo too. Better steamed than boiled, but dodo all the same.

It's not just me then.  Better in the compost bin than in the kitchen, so that's where it went today.

Now to think of another thread title to make the moddies sweat. 8)

There's a recipe involving black tuscan kale and parmesan cheese which is well worth seeking out

Can't find it at the moment but I'll get back to you. It's broadly a pasta sauce.
