So.....

I now have an allotment that has been strimmed!

A virtual greenhouse, cos I haven't bought it yet!

A shed, in pieces in the garage!

A gas stove, £5 from our local store - bargain!

A kettle that whistles - how cool is that, haven't heard one of them for years!

And some small tuppaware type containers for tea, coffee and sugar!

Hundreds of empty cola bottles and yogurt pots etc filling up the house!

Potatoes chitting away in the bedroom window..

.... I'm sooooooo happy and I haven't even planted a seed yet!

How good is life!!!  :D

No amount of time can erase the memory of a good cat, and no amount of masking tape can ever totally remove his fur from your couch.

I could give up chocolate but I'm not a quitter.

Life's always good when you have a bit of land to plant up, be it a pot or a potager.  :D

Oh I don't know...I had an allotment  a few years ago for 12 months...in Leicester.....and a s newcomers we were put down at the bottom of the allotment site, away from public view......alongside a couple of  ganja guys who were actually growing the stuff in their sheds.....and smoking while gardening.the reggae music was always good to listen to though.......

i can't have a shed at my plot - so no kettle or anything - but i can drive my car right to my place (but not when it's wet - got stuck 5 times already this year   )

but i take my flask - and a folding chair - flask moves over for cool bag of becks in the summer mind

i'm going to start sowing my parsnips soon - then spuds - then i know it's all systems go

i spend every dry day (body permitting) outdoors - so to me everyday is a holiday - i am lucky like that
