Love home grown carrots and parsnips but have had no success for the past 3 years due to root fly.  My OH built me this lovely fortress for them.

That's impressive, Eblana.  Something like that would be perfect for leeks too, it would keep the dreaded leek moth at bay.

We are on a roll today.  He has just completed a pea/sweet pea frame and is now working on a munty frame for beans. Oh and the wood for the cold frame to use the windows at the back of the photo of the pea frame is on top of the Jeep to go home with us he is going to cut that at home with electric saw.
