overwintering brassicas

looking through the seed catalogue as you do when its snowing or its to darn cold to do anything outside I decided to update my garden plan I've already pencilled in spring cabbage winter cabbage Brussel sprout and kale then broccoli came to mind don't like the purple varieties so I grow the white varieties

then I struck on the idea of growing some calabrese looked at a variety called Stromboli that says its suitable for both standard and overwintered module raised crops that matures 100-110 days

so this is where it gets a bit tricky  and hence the need for some advise has anyone grew this variety or could give me some advise when would be the best time  to sow this variety to overwinter and would you sow in modules then plant in the ground come the following spring

yes that sounds about rite S/B i thought the same but wasn't quite sure but from what your saying its seems the best way of growing them as i do the same with my spring cabbage plant up in moduels overwinter in the poly tunnel
