Heys people, if any of you havn't heard, Look at Freecycle.org, each town has its own site belonging to it, everything is free, and if yyou're having a bit of a clear out it's a great way to get rid. I'm now a member of Ashford, Maidstone, Sevenoaks, Gillingham, Chatham and Tonbridge.

Am also a member of a number of local freecycle groups. Its been great to get rid of stuff that's too good for landfill. Also been a fab way to get rid of topsoil and rubble, when we had some building work done!!

We've also received some good stuff too, most recently - now found a regular source of pallets 5 minutes away. Now just need to get dad over to help put some things together!!!!

I too am a Freecycle member (Tunbridge Wells group) and totally agree what a brilliant idea it is.  Have already obtained, paving slabs and a few pallets as well as got rid of a few bits of my own.

mee too! Been Freecycling for yonks and it's a great source of lotty stuff. I've Freecylced guttering and downpipes, radios, videos, books, magazines, fanzines, pans, dog food and doggy effects after my little un passed away.  Just a great way of ensuring nowt goes in the dustbin.  Greenhouse glass can be Freecylced instead of binned. I can't now throw anything away without first advertising it, then if no-one wants it then it goes to the dump - never in the bin

When you have spare plants you can always offer them to Freecylcers  :D
