Durham Potato Day

HI all, the next Durham potato day will be held at Bowburn Community Centre on February 3rd. 10am-3pm. ~25 varieties, many organic. Refreshments. Bowburn is at Junction 61 of the A1(M). More details from 0191 368 3616 and 01740 621504 (Durham Organic Gardeners)

hi, i went to the potato day at natures world in middlesbrough yesterday, prices were 1kilo - £1 or 10p for each if you only want a few lots of varieties available.

bummer i missed the middlesbrough one, didnt realise it was on, never mind there is always next year

D'Oh! Have just re-read the web page and the dates given are for 2007 not 2008! :roll:

I've sent an email to the person who looks after that site but havn't had a reply so he may not be doing it any more.

Looks like it's a trip to the GC or Homebase to see what they might have in! :?

don't worry the bowburn potato day is on tomorrow 2nd february at 10-2 at the community centre, at least that's what was said in last weeks northern echo

Gosh Bowburn Community Centre! brings back memories of a young lad 35 years ago at the local dance

it was the Miners Welfare Hall then.
Been moved away 22 years now.
