We had a very slight shower early yesterday morning and also early this morning, but nowhere near enough and the suns out again already.

Breezy, mild - forecast and rain radar looked promising and it has been trying to rain but only had a measly 1.6mm so far.

Been raining gently but steadily since about 1100 - we're near the edge of the rain band (NW and SE look to be out of it at the moment) but if we stay under it we could finish up with a sizeable total, because it appears to stretch all the way back to the Bay of Biscay.

Not quite regretting wishing for rain just yet...

Rain overnight but a sunny 25C     again today, with only a very light breeze 
Everything in the garden has put on a spurt after the recent showers. Hopefully still some more rain to come!

Non stop rain including overnight just varies in intensity. Some flooding on local roads. Gone from one extreme to another, not complaining though. Ground was seriously dry this should help restore water to the soil. Good news no need to water spuds (or anything else) 😊😊😊
