I didn't get around to covering my brassicas with netting this year so I have had some trouble with the dreaded cabbage white butterfly and pigeons but the brussels sprouts haven't been touched.  Now there's a thing.

Pigeons are omnivorous in this part of the world.  Brussels are definitely on their menu.  They do seem to prefer leeks if they can get at them though.  Lettuce they ignore.

Pigeons are obviously less fussy here -- brussels are on their menu for sure!
