I have messed up my labelling and I have grown round corgettee s green and pumpkins. I have a number of unclear plants  with large produce which are turning orange. Are theses likely to be pumpkins. Would round corgettee not start to go rotten. Thanks

I have a round courgette that is now bright orange! It grew to about 25cm in diameter, hidden in the foliage and when I brought it home I sat it up on the fridge as I didn't have an immediate use for it... and now it is orange.

I would not expect it to last the winter though, like a pumpkin would

Cheer up - I know a professional grower who thought he had planted Hunter butternut squash and has discovered he has pumpkins fit for Cinderella's carriage growing on. That has messed up his weekly crop share a treat.  ;)
