Has anyone any advice on cacti growing. I keep mine in a heated greenhouse and am thinking of ways to put them into a sand filled shelf.

Hi Diggerpete.
I don't think you need to do anything with them at the moment. They don't need much heat in winter, just frostfree. No water in winter. Start when the clocks change in spring and stop when they change again in autumn.

I'm not too sure what sorts I've got most were presents last year with no labels on two flowered though.

ive got 2 pots of cacti in my bathroom brought back fom Spain just in normal potting compost with gravel (fish tank stuff)on top and they have been doing fine for about 3 years, i dont give them much water in the summer only when i remember!
