What a crying shame Bing  :(   So far - touches wood, throws salt over shoulder and mutters incantations - no sign of it here, but I do feel for you.  Its gutting when you lose the lot like that  :(

I feel so sorry for you, just at the time when we all start looking at our tomato plants and looking forward to tasty, fresh ones.  I hope you have friends with healthy plants who will give you some of their surplus.

I don't think that I'd take a chance on composting them. They'd be on a bonfire.

Looks as if mine are now infected. I usually dispose of the fruit and compost the rest as I believe blight only survives on live plants.

That may be correct but some of us are adding new plant material to the compost bin on a daily basis.
The spores could possibly survive on the new material, and each time I open the lid, the spores could escape onto my plot.  I'd rather play safe, thank you.
