Suitable rotovator for hire?

Any ideas whether this rotovator will be good enough to dig my plot?

Should be SN 5.5hp is not bad, has your plot been dug by hand or are you on a uncultivated plot ? You may need to do several passes.
There a few like that on our site and they do a grand job.

All for £30 a day - I might hire it for this weekend.  The reports say it will probably rain after that but be dry until then.  Any ideas how dry the soil would need to be?

You should be OK as long as the ground don't stick to your boots as you walk over it or comes off a spade easily, I'm a bit of a novice with the rotavator business compared to some on here. It may be a little early in the year to do it yet.

Hopefully BBF or Shaun etc will pop by soon, they will know.
