F1 Strawberry question...

Were starting a new strawberry collection this year, and have bought two 'Roman', one 'Elan', and also a bog-standard plant.

As it's ages since we grew straws, we're wondering if the runners we'll save from the F1 plants (the first two), will stay true to type in future!

Does anyone know what happens please?
