Allotment Dinner Party

Last summer I invited a few friends over to the allotment and I set up a make shift kitchen with some camping equipment. Everything was picked and cooked within seconds and everyone just couldn't get over the flavours of the food. Am going to do it again this summer.

Even I thought the Salad was uuummmmmmm.

The trick is to get the water boiling before you start picking the veg.

We had:
Roasted Peppers
Summer Vegetables (whatever is available) with Lemon Vinaigrette
with Potatoes and Fish
Icecream with Summer fruits
and Strawberry Granita (prepaired in advance)
White wine and strawberries

I'm glad I asked!! That sounds yummy (apart from the fish - but I'm vegetarian)

We've had a BBQ there with freshly picked sweetcorn and courgettes chucked on, and salad (without the extra protein!)
