Beautiful toms, but...
« on: July 14, 2015, 12:08 »
So my tom plants are all green and luscious - laden with big fat tomatoes and oodles of flowers. But...I've noticed that some of the flowers are dying before they make a tomato. Does this just mean that some flowers didn't get pollinated - or have my plants got the lurge?
Carpe Diem

Either the flower didn't get pollinated, or in the case of the bigger tomatoes, that the truss has set as many fruit as the plant can support.

It's usually nothing to worry about  ;)
