Dying gooseberry bushes
« on: July 06, 2015, 15:10 »
My friend has some gooseberry bushes (Invicta) that have died over the last year or so. They weren't looking too good last year but have succumbed to something bad this year. She doesn't think it is due to mildew or sawfly but the leaves look dried and burnt. Anyone any ideas?
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

I don't have a answer, but I did have this with one of my Invicta bushes in a pot. I took it from a part-shade position, put it in the sun for one day only and it is now completely dead. the other one doesn't look too clever - but is hanging on.
