You should be OK, but as regards peas, be prepared for the fact that they will be more susceptible to mildew and pea moth attack.

I found with a late sowing last year that covering the peas with debris netting helps to prevent pea moth issues. Doesn't help with the mildew problem though. I've just sown a couple of late rows...nothing ventured, nothing gained!

French beans will be fine. They are a warm weather crop.

Glad you said that as those in my greenhouse are cropping well but need some more to follow on.

I kept my late peas well watered last year and they managed to avoid mildew. Also put enviro mesh over them and that kept the pea moth away.
