Apple Tree Damage
« on: February 15, 2015, 16:01 »
Hi All,
Went down the plot this morning and found this damage to my Apple Tree.
Whats causing it?
Will the Tree survive?

Thanks

Do you have rabbits and/or deer?

If you can protect the rest of the bark around the tree it might have a chance of surviving.  If the nibbling happens around the whole circumference then the tree will end up ring-barked with little chance.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...
