On the 2015 thread, Jelly potatoes are highly recommended. Apparently, those of us who don't grow them don't know what we're missing! So I had a look about. Two pound 49 pence (no pound sign - sorry) for ten tubers (from a suppliers who mainly sells at around one pound 60 pence per kilo for other varieties)! And all sold out to boot. I've read the supplier's blurb, but am always a bit sceptical about what they have to say.

So, a question for Jelly growers, what's so good about Jellies?

Methinks Jellies can't be that good Snoop, as there's a deafening silence on the subject! Can't help I'm afraid but would be interested to know also...

im a jelly lover   i did 10 stes last year  an was well impressed...this year ive got 50 sets  what i liked about them..very big yield  large potato   they fry...roast and chip..and taste relly nice..yes a bit expensive   but i think there worth it ..they didnt get blight or black leg   ill report on this year when there dug up..try a starter pack  2.49 on ebay

SNOOP ..never tried them steamed..but they do averything else   there a new germam strain  only really on trial..an not many about yet   try them  as see
