Hi there, I have just bought 9 bare root black current bushes from Aldi, can anyone tell me when I should plant them?

I have 7 - and a lotof blackcurrant jam. To be fair only 2 bushes are mature the others were cuttings from 2 years ago.

Going to try blackcurrant cordial this year.

I don't think 9 is excessive!

I only have 2 very small i.e. from cuttings blackcurrant bushes and have so many plans for the little currants they may produce, jam, summer pudding, ice cream, mot to mention cordial too. I think I may be disappointed that I cannot make everything I have planned.

I didnt realise I had too many plants lol, will have to share them with the neighbours.
