Winter colour?
« on: September 26, 2014, 16:49 »
Is it too late for me to fling some seeds in compost- thinking of winter pansies just to fill a space until spring.

I sow them in July for planting out soon.... you'll have to buy plug plants, I think.

:( thought that was going to be the case. Im not buying plugs again after the last lot.  it will just have to stay a bare patch.

Have you no local garden centre to buy from some? You can see the quality then.
I bought some for the school garden last year, from Wyevale, and they flowered their socks of 'til late Spring  :)

Try Jersey Direct - you won't be disappointed as my plugs have always been top notch.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.
