Just found a packet of pumpkin seed (Queesnland Blue Pumpkin and Crown Prince) that I'd put somewhere safe and forgotten about.  If I sow them now is there any chance I'll get a crop?  I'm in the North West...

Sow them now and put the pots somewhere warm to encourage them to germinate quickly and you should be able to get a crop before the end of the growing season

I sowed some a few days ago and hope for a crop. They do like it warm and hate cold.

It's worth a try but they do tend to like a decent, long growing season and as you're in the NW you may find you have difficulties in getting them to ripen.  But as we've had long autumns the last few years it might well be OK.
