Morning Tosca and all.

Have you still got the snow in Bulgaria? Seems a bit misty here this morning

We have been having a bit every day for a few days, mostly thawing then freezing. Not sure there will be much thawing today though or the next few as temps are not going to rise above -2 and -10 at night A day or two by the fire making cards I think.

I'm back to work this morning after 12 days off :(
So difficult to get out of bed when the house is so cold!! I seriously want to hibernate! :D

A week from today the heating is being done ;)

Hell, fire and damnation is your heating still not fixed?   Is there a shortage of heating engineers in Devon? Move to London and I'll share Mark with you. Fixed the same day.

Aww thanks for the concern Mrs Bee :D
It's not the fact there's no-one to do it - it's booked next Tuesday/Wednesday - it's me!!! I'm the problem!
I'm on  nights this week s can't have somebody banging about while I try to sleep ::) Next week is the only day I have 2 days off together to get it done.

They said they'd jus have the keys and do it while we're at work but I don't think so! While we have nothing worth nicking, I don't know them well andthere's loads of documentation with bank details on etc, so I will be here!!

I've properly messed up my off duty this week! I should have done my teaching day tomorrow - not today!
Now I have to get up for the clinical educators at 10am then I volunteered to help teach clinical observations to the new HCA's - all before a night shift tomorrow night ::)

So sorry things are so difficult for you. I worked nights for a year and can sympathise with having different hours to the rest of the world (it seems). It's a pain when things break at the very worst time....heating always seems to break when the weather is at it's coldest. I hope it is all resolved soon, meanwhile fill those hot water bottles.

Yikes that's a long miserable time to be without heating! Hope that your body clock forgives you the shift mix up too.

Am sitting here doing the last-minute jobs before I go away and trying not to wake OH, who knows what I am like and has made the strategic choice of sleeping in the spare room!

Belated good morning all. Having to put up with bright sun and blue skies here, but with the night temperatures down to -10 it's bitter out of the sun. Lovely, the sort of day I used to love to ride in back in the day....................

Why can I see BQs little boy in a ball pool in with the emoticons?
A bit late up this week, having a bit of a rest to help me get over all the comings & going so of the last couple of weeks. Also got some new herbal tablets so will see if they help
