Morning all been awake for past hour then decided to get up and make myself a coffee rather than toss and turn and not get back to sleep. Even on holiday I am waking early  ::)heard the rain earlier and the clouds are looking a bit grey so not sure what we will be doing today, something indoors I expect

Wife got me a tee shirt with Eat Drink Allotment on it, and it's true - I think once you get and allotment if you are going to stay the distance you have no choice but to become a little OCD

That is so true. I am missing ours and when we are out on our travels I am looking for allotment sites so I can get a quick fix, unfortunately they don't seem to have many up here so I am now having withdrawal symptoms. I am going to ask the owner of this cottage later if I can see his veg patch just to calm myself

Belated good morning early risers.

Just said an emotional goodbye to the OH's sister and BIL, after a pizza breakfast at the neighbours' house where they were treated like honoured guests, with the lady of the house even donning her best red, sequinned top for the occasion. They then sat out on their bench on the street waiting to wave them off in the taxi. Not quite sure waht brought a tear to our eyes. What a lovely place we live in.

Feeling groggy after a very hot night, temp 28, dog panting and very close. Rain in the early hours didn't help, but the plants will be happy even though OH watered for an hour yesterday.

Market day today then OH delivering a comission of a tiger painting.

Morning Tosca. Awake at five this morning - cos the ducks were quacking. It was OH's turn to sort the hens and ducks today so I am still tucked up in bed.

morning all lots of rain yesterday evening so no watering long day yesterday 8 hours on the market and 2 hour hypnobirth class. need to tidy house today then and visit Dad poss some gardening at home too.
