Good to hear from Paul Plots again.  :)

Gave up trying to stay asleep after being disturbed several times by the wind and rain, an over-vivid dream, and the inevitable full bladder.  ::)

Got up at 0710 and wearily made myself a cup of tea, tried to focus my eyes on the GH to make sure it was still all in one piece, then heard the binmen coming down the road (they start early round these parts!)

I had a nasty feeling I knew what was going to happen next and it did - my and my neighbour's now empty black bins blew over (who cares?) into the road (oh bother!) so had to throw some clothes on to go and rescue them.

Sun's out now and I'm having a nice cup of coffee and trying to ignore anything happening outside!  ;)
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

Sorry to hear you've all been suffering from the wind outside. I guess we've had a blast too. It was fresh when I wandered over at 2am but my mother's bungalow is quiet inside so it was only her that kept me awake on and off.  ::)

Not sure how Mrs Plots slept up in our attic bedroom

JayG.... nice to know you're ok too.
PS I still use a dust-bin for our black bag. So far the bin men have let me get away with it but the foxes are not so delighted ;)

I'm the only one that slept through the wind then??
Herbal sleeping pills are amazing  :D

Up early this morning for work, but no time to post here. Good job I don't wear any makeup or do complicated hair do's or I'd need to get up an hour earlier!!

Morning all - the ducks had me up at 6.45 this morning - yawn.  Worth it though as the sunrise over the sea was lovely.

Day is reducing in quality. Little cat has been lame and a trip to our local vet (who I have no faith in) and two injections and manipulation has resulted in a cat who can hardly walk at all. Dreadfully upsetting and I am sorry that this has happened on OH's big day (and that's another rubbish story)

Feeling totally useless.

Hope things get better very quickly. It's awful feeling out of control :(

Oh dear Tosca,I'm sorry you're having a rubbish day, really hope it gets better & Splash of course, maybe it's inflammation from the manipulation & will go down :(.

Thanks DBG, it must have worked as the day got better. Cat moving a bit better today and the exhibition (ashamed to say I wanted to stay home with cat ) went better than we thought yesterday. Waiting for links for BG telly as we don't have it. OH stood out from the crowd as he wore a suit and is tall, smartest person there and hopefully people will remember him. Sold a painting which helped towards two new tyres for the 4x4

And thank you too Snowy. No manipulation today so getting better all the time. We have a feeling he might have been hunting in the wood shed and got clouted by a rogue log.
