Lie ins seem to be the order of the day.

I got a lie in till 8. Now it is a massive clean up after the builders have finished all the dirty work. :(

But the living room looks amazing. Light, bright and airy. It was worth the mess. :D

Whether we will be straight and decorated by that .........day is another matter.
Mr Bee says he is sorry but he does need to sleep. I think that is a little unreasonable myself. ::)

We certainly won't be doing our Christmas decorating on the last day of November as usual.

Union Chapel, Islington.  Awesome venue, rock-county gig.  Really good- I'd had a whole pot of coffee by 5am, dropped kids off to tram at 7am, headed back to bed and slept till 10am (day off fri) so made the whole gig awake  :tongue2:

Had to get up at 7.30am today though as hubby had arranged a church-roof builders appointment

The union Chapel is a brilliant venue. We saw Show of hands there a few years. The acoustics were terrific. The only thing I should have done was take a cushion.  The seats were a tad hard on the derriere.

I had a lie in till 5.30 this morning, after being woken at 1 when OH came in and then again at 3 when dear little kitten wanted to play. Now in my customary position on 2 seater sofa with two large dogs wedged in beside me and said small cat wedged in front of notebook on my lap. Why do we allow it? ::) Making a rod for our own back.

Oh, forgot, there are also the rats above my head. Lovely.

Aaawwww. My OH was beside himself with happiness when he discovered gold top milk in the fridge this morning. It was meant for tonight's rice pud, but nothing would stop him having some on cereal... ::)

Am happily ensconced on the sofa with some very strong coffee and toast. Off to the plot in an hour to finish making a path in the sludge.  :)

I remember when I was a kid I would try to beat my Dad to the gold top for cereals, but he always had the advantage being a newsagent and therefore being up first. That's probably how I got into being an early riser, although had a lie-in this morning, didn't get up until 7
