Ha! Signed in before Paul- he must be getting a ie in today  :D
Or maybe he's not been to bed at all.

I think I have but woke this morning after 6 hours in bed and starting the day didn't seem an enticing option... I would far sooner have closed the lids and stayed there...... until I remembered work days in the past and suddenly the day ahead looked much more attractive.  :)

Hope you all have a good snooze till the morning and wake up to a day full of promise.  :)

Well, I suppose it's technically early morning, it's 1am here and I can't get to sleep. There are owls screeching, creatures scuttling above my head, dog got a frog in it's throat, other dog on sofa with me and cat, husband gently snoring upstairs and snow forecast.

Thank goodness I don't have to go out to work! :)

Morning! Up nice and early, full-throated dawn chorus going on outside my window which is a lovely alarm call. Was very cold last night so everything is sparkling with frost in the pre-dawn light.

Congrats on the pasta-making Tosca, it's so worth it, isn't it!

Mmmm loving the pasta the way I like it. Most pasta over here is quick cook which goes slimey easily.

Managed to get to sleep eventually for a few hours, then delivered some hand made cards and picked up flour (in case of emergencies) and most of the day has gone...somewhere.

We didn't get the promised first frost last night and our forecast has changed to more damp but mildish weather but that means nothing!

The dawn light found me standing by the mini fish pond with a steaming cup of tea, contemplating the best thing to do with the fish, when a pair of beautiful hen and cock pheasants wandered into the garden! A rare treat...managed to stay totally still, while they rummaged around a bit and wandered on into the next plot. Nice start to the day!

I am awake!

Contemplating a lot to do this morning before I meet my friend for lunch: get a stew together in the slow cooker, change the bedding, hoover through and it's my chook day!! ::)
Currently too cold to get out of bed :)

Oh yes. I am with you on that.

Got up at 4 woken up by the rain, but stayed in the pit 'cos it was warm and cosy. It was quite comforting listening to the rain in the warm bed.

Too miserable to go out in the garden, can't go in the kitchen 'cos of the dust from the builders; whose idea was it to have the work done before shhhhhmas. ::) ::) so we are off to the cinema.

We were sent off site yesterday because of the dust and ended up lighter in pocket because we found the Sony shop.

Will be safer in the cinema.
