It is still technically morning and I'm much less grumpy now :D
I just met BSB riders Shane 'Shakey' Byrne, Ian 'Hutchy' Hutchinson and the only female rider Jenny Tinmouth!!  So cool! :D

A lie in Dugless?  :D  I do hope you enjoyed it, you must have needed it.  :)

I fully intended to try for another couple of hours (after dropping YS off at work at 6), but one cup of tea has led to another, and now I'm thinking of getting outside before it heats up too much...

I had a lie in too, the geese woke me just after 7. In my defence I didn't get to bed till after midnight then sweated and scratched! Lovely.

Morning all. Sneaked in to catch up (not that I am one of those poor, to-be-pitied addicted...) Had breakfast outside as it was relatively cool with few flies and were joined by three of the ex-batts, Tilly, Tansy and Tulip, who have taken to foraging for the last remaining cherry toms from the dead plants on top of the wall. We were going to remove them to the compost heap but they are enjoying them. (the tomato plants, not the Ts)

Better go and help with the weeding.

G'morning all. my first visit here. i'm usually running around like a blue **** fly in the morning, but it's blissfully tipping down, so just chucked hay at my menagerie and can relax with multiple cupas!

This is a bit too early for you Mme Cholet. At least I did stay in bed till 5, though I have to admit I had been waiting an hour....after going for a wee. I'll be glad when I can stop using the fan at night though it does mask the sound of the Babas chunnering away on their benches on the lane into the night. Makes my mouth so dry, but the heat is relentless at this time of the year. Could do with a windfall so we could have air conditioning up there.

I couldn't cope if I had to work in it. I just do what I can when I can, if it's too hot to do my hour of weeding I don't do it. But the nights seem so flipping long when you can't sleep. Being British we have to moan, but when I think of the awful weather we had in the UK the few years before we left I stop myself. And we have so much more here. I would love to be able to afford this lifestyle in the UK, but it will never happen. If or when we do come back it will be a small rental somewhere where the OH can find a job. We don't intend to find out any time soon.

I'll put up with the heat, but moan about it occasionally!
