Yes, I've got thoughts.

But I'm not going to post them, I'd have to moderate myself!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

I am itching to get things in but am going away with work for the next two weeks so I am forced to wait until at least mid march! I think its a blessing in disguise.

Undoubtably!

I suspect my greenhouse blowing over in the storms is the same.

He'll certainly avoid the pea moth lol.....
When weeding, the best way to know if its a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull it.

If it comes out easy, it was a valuable plant !

At this point I must confess that I have peas coming up in my back garden.

Last year I was very tied up with domestic matters with my mother passing away. Some of my heritage pea seed that I was growing for saving went a bit too far past it and self-seeded. Some are now up about 6". These are in a very sheltered spot between my greenhouse and next doors garage wall.

They are randomly scattered over a wide-ish area and are no doubt of several varieties. I may have to try and move them to one spot. Problem is, some of them may be 6'+ peas!

I have started mine in the greenhouse in modules. I have will sow weekly for a few weeks then twice a week as it gets warmer. When the are 2 inches tall I plant them out and protect from the weather.

Precisely!

I'm talking about a very well sheltered spot in my back garden, surrounded by two garages, a greenhouse and an 8' fence, NOT my quagmire of an exposed plot. And as MoS says, I didn't do it, so your statement is not valid, Gavin!  :tongue2:
