Muls, wizzyfax is right. This is one seed-buying fix that you will definitely count as worthwhile.

We love these: sweet, thin-skinned, juicy, bright and slightly unusual colour, hugely productive... The trick is to leave them till they really are a very dark orange for maximum sweetness. I've seen pictures on suppliers' websites that to my mind are too yellow. You'll have to sample them as they ripen till you find the colour and sweetness you like best. Don't be disappointed if you think the first ones are a bit sharp. Leave the rest on the plant and taste them every now and then till you find the degree of ripeness you like best.

They are always our first tomatoes to ripen properly. I grow them outdoors - not ideal as our plot is subject to gale-force winds on a regular basis throughout the summer - but if you can grow them in a greenhouse they will carry on producing till really late in the season.
