Just a shade off the topic but we have moles at the golf club. I note how nice and fine the soil is on the mole hill. Could that be used for setting seeds?

I use it to earth up me spuds, and increase the height of my topsoil.
Cheers

Moles are normally solitary beasts despite the large number of molehills that can appear.  Without doubt, the best way to rid yourself of a mole is to call in a local mole catcher.  Typically they don't charge unless they catch the blighter and will set half a dozen or so traps, checking back daily to see if successful.  They're well worth the money compared to the frustration and angst the mole causes!  Oh, and if you love small, cute, furry animals with outsized feet then don't ask to see it  :(

Good luck!
