Broodies are cheaper!  ;)

We haven't got that one anymore, when we retired, I was in Kent and Brian sold it along with most of the other poultry related stuff we had, but we got it from China.  I loved that incubator.  Took 264 eggs and everything was automatic.

Now we just have the 14 old hens that are left and only get 6 eggs a day!

That is good news Carl.  Don't forget that the fertility rate will probably be lower at this time of the year so you may need to set more eggs to get the results you want.  Keep us updated on your progress.   :)

Is a broody a good thing to put on your lap to keep your legs warm?

You are welcome to some quail eggs (FTGH) to try out your incubator Carl, I have a mixture of Italian, Japanese and Rosetta.  That is if you would trust Royal Mail to deliver them in one piece.  I would just need a weeks notice to put a young male in with some females as my resident male is currently worn out!!   ::)
