Sorry if you already know this, but it needs a surprisingly fine net ("holes" no more than 7mm wide) to keep Cabbage White Butterfly out.

Harrumph!

The cabbage moth has even got through the 7mm netting this year, and I didn't see them til I cut the cabbages  :dry:

All debris netting for me next year, then!

They still get through even the finest enviromesh it seems ::)

They cannot get through this, but are very clever at spotting where there might be any gaps they can squeeze through, even right a ground level  :ohmy: :blink:

they've pretty much gone in norfolk, not a moment too soon.

however if you've got netting up i would leave it up til the first frost, no point in taking a risk now.
