back from two week holiday

Got back yesterday from our two week holiday, took a walk upto our allotment to find the broccoli has gone to seed and one of the beds has been took over by what looks like fat hen weed :blink: its that thick i cant see my leeks or peas, radishes have also bolted, can they still be eaten ?, on a good note though we did get to harvest some of our hard work

You took a holiay in the midst of growing season? Brave boy. I attempt to go away in October half term. Should be ok then I hope.

Well, it looks like you got a nice harvest despite all of the weeds. It is the heavy rain I think, it did wonders for the crops, but wonders for the weeds too.

The radish may be a little woody but otherwise OK.

Fat hen is edible too - a bit like mild spinach
