Chick help please

Last one hatched yesterday, the only girl,and she appears to be gasping for air. The 4 boys seem fine!!!
She is with a broody. Any suggestions?

Not much positive info online, I'm trying sugar water, but time will tell.

I have used honey in boiled/cooled water for a newly hatched quail. It does seem to encourage them to eat and drink.

Roberta had rejected her, and she has now passed on. Still have the 4 boys as I might have homes for them.

Roberta must have known there was something wrong with the chick. Better that she did not struggle on for too long. I hope you can rehome the boys.
