It happens.

Sling out the bad ones, keep the good peas. Don't waste them by slinging the whole pod.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

I've been hit by pea moth this year - one out of every few pods has a pea or two that has been munched by the little blighter. There's lots of good advice on this thread (thanks!) regarding harvesting now, but what about leaving the pods on the plant to dry?

If I intend to leave my peas to be dried for next season (heritage variety Champion of England), will I suffer almost total losses as the caterpillar gets bigger and makes his way down the pod, or will the current rate of maybe 10% peas being eaten sustain the weevil until they leave?

Thanks. I've seen questions asked regarding the moth and keeping them away, but not regarding leaving the peas o the plant, so hopefully this isn't a double post.  Thanks
