Winston first earlies foliage falling over
« on: June 10, 2013, 22:27 »
Planted some Winston first earlies in pots and had then in the greenhouse until about three weeks ago.  They have been growing for about 12 weeks.  We took one of the plants out but only got a few potatoes.  I have noticed the foliage had flowers about 2 weeks ago but in the last week they are flopping over.  What should I do.  Should I leave them longer or take out the small crop.

If the leaves are still green then I'd tie the foliage up with a few canes and carry on feeding and watering.

If the foliage is already dying back then they won't get any bigger :(
