Slug pellets going to be banned?

Hedgehogs do a good job of keeping slugs away, apparently they can eat dozens in a single night! 

I have a hedgehog that comes into my garden every night by squeezing under the side gate. It goes all the way along my fence where the strawberry bed is, before squeezing under the fence a little further along into next doors garden. I have no problem with slugs in my strawberry's, but I do have in another parts of the garden where the hedgehog doesn't go...

I think hedgehogs are picky! I've seen them walk straight past slugs without so much as a sniff
