Badger attack or Fox

Hi
I found all my chickens dead, 2 with their head gone, 1 missing and 5 untouched but dead. We thought it was a fox, but a few days later we found a badger behind the chicken shed and our back fence which is about 10 inches wide. Would a badger do this as it had to climb over a 4 foot fence with trellis on top as well.
