i am in the process of making some candied peel , has anyone tryed this before :?:  :?:  :?:  its a bit messy to do but smells good , hope it works out .

Never tried it Chrissie but used to pinch some whenever my mother used it in a recipe.  

What are you using: orange / lemon / lime? Let us know how it turns out.

i have 3 oranges two lemons and a grapfruit , its at the drying out stage, but it looks pretty all covered in sugar , i have kept the syrup to drizzle on a cake tomorrow .

peels doing great now its started to harden off and it realy tastes like it supposed to be , any marmalade makers can use up any surplus peel they might have left over.

well the peel is all dried out now and some has made it to the mincemeat , its turned out well so i will do it again and nothing was wasted i made us a citrus cake out of the fruit.
