I forgot that I'd ordered a strawberry plant from kings seeds and it arrived today.  What should I do with it?  The pack said open immediately.  My lotty isn't ready for them yet and I'm not sure i can get a space together until the weekend now. Can I bung them in a pot with some compost then transplant them when I'm ready to?

Yes, but try to find somewhere sheltered outside for the pots, you wouldn't want them to get used to being inside in the warm.

You can pot them up into large modules/pots  of fresh compost and plant them when you have a break in the weather and when the soil allows of course. I had some for Mothering Sunday and I shall plant them up like this. They're still in the bag at the moment
