Interesting.

Have you ever taken advantage of offers from this company before?

I'm very nervous of using this sort of on-line deal at times unless I know a man who has.  ;)

Groupon can be good, but there have been issues where the companies have oversold and you dont get what you ask for. I bought a suit via Groupon, and everything was spot on :)

I wouldn't go anywhere near Groupon.

I've heard more than once that their deals end up being expensive with add-ons etc (which SHOULD be part of the deal), but on a personal level they got hold of my email address so I get bombarded every day by a number of messages I don't want.  >:( There isn't an unsubscribe option.  >:( >:( I have set up a rule to delete their messages.

I think it depends what you buy. Not sure id ever buy a holiday or weekend away via Groupon (can see the issues that you are talking about cropping up there!), but for a 'fixed' item what can they add?:D

I am going to jump in with both feet and say that I am a regualr groupon voucher user, who is well satisfied.

If you are going to purchase a voucher for a local resteraunt, or to pay for a holiday, contact the company direct first to ensure they have the capacity for you to go on a date/dates you wanted, then but the voucher and book immediately.

Always take a paper copy of both the voucher and your security information with you when you go, and.....

.... so far so good for me  :D :D :D
