Rhubarb question
« on: January 30, 2013, 08:21 »
So I got my two rhubarb rhizomes from Blackmoors.

My allotment is water-logged at the moment, or at least it was on Sunday following the thaw. What should I do with the rhizomes until they can be planted?

Just leave them on the ground somewhere that's not too exposed. They're as hardy as anything. The cold will keep them dormant for a while longer.

Or pot them up in about a 6" pot and they'll be happy for quite a while. Keep in a cool area.
